It was great to hear Bed of Roses and Hallelujah but how do you not play Make a Memory and I'll be there for you? I missed Runaway too. It would be nice to hear She Don't Know Me! The performance was excellent as always. The three hours went by like one. They could have played two more hours. It's been twenty-one years since the band has played New Mexico. Come back to Santa Fe JBJ Love Ya
OMG What can I say, they will forever be the GREATEST BAND that has ever stepped foot on this planet. I've been a "Loyal Fan" for 24 years now. They have never disappointed me! =) I got home a little after 1 a.m., and had to be at work by 7:30. Forget coffee. I had the best energy, all day at work. To tell you that I am still in a TRANCE!!! I had VIP, Row 2/Pit 2. Jon kept standing infront of us, most of the time. The best part was when Jon touched my hand while working his way back onto the stage from the Catwalk.Thank you again for another awesome show. I will do my best to see you before the Tour comes to an end. "YOU GUYS ROCK". Love, Elena
This was my 3rd time seeing BonJovi, and I will remember that night forever! Up close and personal with Jon, Richie, Tico, and David with seats in the 2nd row.....what a heavenly night!!!! I loved the acoustic performance. You guys are awesome!!! See you in Vegas next Saturday! I LOVE you all!!!!!
Ringing ears, scratchy voice, chapped hands, sore feet --- the typical post-Jovi show symptoms of someone who had a ROCKING good time!
My favorite moments: 1) Hearing "This Is Our House" right before the show started 2) Richie singing "Homebound Train" 3) The 4 song set at the front of the circle 4) The acoustic version of "Something For The Pain"
We made a lot of noise in Glendale - I wonder if the boys could hear themselves during Wanted and Prayer!
Come back soon!
I'd really like to hear some deeper cuts like "Without Love", "Let It Rock", "Wild Is The Wind", 99 In The Shade, "Stick To Your Guns", and "If I Was Your Mother" .
What can I say it's two days later and I'm still sitting up on the moon!! LOVED EVERY SINGLE SECOND of that Heavnly Night!!
So, what, they played songs from 7800 and the first album a couple times, and that's it? Come on guys, don't settle into a boring set list this early on, mix it up!
what happend whith BOUNCE record Songs???
Graet show .....due to the fact the big screen did not work they should come back
Jon Tweeted the reason the setlist was the same was for production problems and said 1 song from 1st album and 1 song from 7800 coming this weekend, you can see this on the home page-funny I didn't think he tweeted!
when will you start performing stuff from 7800'f agian
livin on a prayer has to be the greatest song there is.
First Bon Jovi Concert I've ever seen, too bad he doesn't do shows back home in Alaska! I've been a fan since the beginning, remember listening to Early Years, Slippery When Wet and New Jersey on the Walkman out in the Alaska Wilderness. :) Those were TAPES back then...LOL Concert was very entertaining, and I'm proud of Jon, Richie and the guys for being so dynamic still 25+ years into this thing! Good job and great show!!!
I have been a BJ fan since the beginning in 84. I am very dissapointed with the current set list. Real fans......the ones that supported them when they first started want some old stuff. Not the current fans that just jumped on board a few years ago. I am talking about a song or two from each of the first two albums. Then a good dose of Slippery and NJ. These days was very good too. After that the music has been hit or miss. Please bring back the Rock Band! Not the sell out one!!!!! :)
I really enjoyed the concert! I had nose bleed seats for the first time in 25 years. Hubby lost his job this year so I could not afford the fan club tickets for the first time since Backstage was created. I am definately spoiled when it comes to Bon Jovi concerts. No matter what, I am going to be sure I can buy fan club tickets next time....it is just not the same from the rafters. I still enjoyed the show though, I was glad to hear Homebound Train live. I would love to hear some songs from 7800 next time, I miss those songs.
I agree with RebHunt08 - the show rocked!
Heeeeeccccckkkk!!!!!! THis CONCERT ROCKED!!!! GOT FRONT ROW TIX RIGHT IN FRONT OF RICHIE!!!! MAN!!! RICHIE YOU ROCKED!!! I <3 YOU! THE WHOLE BAND WAS GREAT!!!!! IT WAS AMAZING! :D I REALLY LOVED IT!!!! (GOT 2 GUITAR PICKS) ONE FROM SOME BACKSTAGE GUY AND ONE THE STAGE PEOPLE THREW AT ME... IM SURE IT WAS ONE OF RICHIE'S <3 IT WAS AMAZING ILL NEVER FORGET IT!!!! :P LOVE YA BON JOVI!!!!
All you haters on here...wtf! This concert ROCKED!!!! JBJ can do no wrong in my eyes! I got home after 1:30am and had to be at work at 6am. But this concert was SO worth it, and I would do it again anytime anywhere! In fact, after a long day of begging, I finally convinced two friends to take an impromptu road trip to LA for the show on Thursday! I can't get enough of this band, and I hope they never get enough of us fans! WE LOVE YOU GUYS!
The only thing that could ever top a Bon Jovi concer would be a chance to meet Jon and the band! I'm still keeping my fingers crossed...maybe in LA!
Agree totally with dldownes and Mcarnot! The show totally rocked last night, and what may seem like a predictable set list for some, is totally awesome for others! It was everything I could have asked for!
This all sounds fantastic. Can't wait for the boys to visit downunder.! I also love hearing that Richie gets to sing solo. WHOOO! Don't know what all the complaining about old songs is about - only just starting their tour and I can count at least 8 songs over all set lists that don't normally make it on tour. After all a tour is usually to showcase a current album., with a smattering of old favs. Whilst it would be wonderful, they can't perform everything they have ever done. It must be a nightmare working out a set list that will keep all the fans happy - new , old and loyal. Just be grateful for what you get!
Jon just tweeted that the Set didnt change due to problems with the production and that older songs will be coming this weekend. Dont judge too quickly we are only four shows in!
