Bon Jovi carries a history of success for over 30 years. The band became an icon of American rock music, and will shake South America on a visit that includes a performance at the huge Rock in Rio festival in Brazil, as well as a reunion with the band’s Chilean and Argentine audience. The same audience that Bon Jovi first met in 1990, marking an unforgettable milestone in the history of Chilean mega-concerts. They came back in 1993 and 2010, always with great success. Now is the opportunity to take this relationship to a new level, with which it is expected to be the best of all presentations in the country.
Led as always by the iconic Jon Bon Jovi, the group is going through its greatest maturity, resulting in its excellent new album, which is being well received by the fans: in its first week of sales the album was ranked as number 1 on the charts in countries such as USA, Australia, Spain, Sweden, Canada and Austria.
The current moment is complemented by the all-time classics that made Bon Jovi big: “Livin’ on a prayer”, “Bad medicine”, “You give love a bad name”, “Born to be my baby”, “Wanted dead or alive”,”I’ll be there for you “,”Never say goodbye”, “Runaway “,” Bed of roses “, “Always”, “This ain’t a love song “, “It’s my life”, “We weren’t born to follow”, among many others.
130 million records sold, performing over 2,700 concerts, the endless list of hits, the fact of having one of the best singers of popular music, and the strength of a band that won a place among the greatest through their excellence, all come together to make this a concert experience not to miss.
The show will feature special guest Nickelback. The Canadian rock band has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide and since their 2001 breakthrough hit song “How You Remind Me,” Nickelback has sent more than 20 singles rocketing up the charts including massive hits Photograph, Burn It To The Ground and Rockstar. Hard rocking, with worldwide radio anthems, this is a band with a reputation for providing a part wherever they go.
