Bon Jovi has been nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo or Group With Vocals for "We Weren't Born To Follow" from The Circle! The Grammy Awards will take place on January 31 at Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Pop? All we ever hear on the radio in NZ is all that pop MTV trash and Bon Jovi are nothing like that. Some people call themselves fans yet write really insulting things here, obviously everyone is allowed an opinion and there are a few Jovi songs that I do not particularly like but I wouldn't dream of writing really insulting things about the band, a true fan doesn't do that imo.

Haven't played The Circle too much because I don't want mom knowing I already have the cd...asking mom " I wanted the cd/dvd for Christmas though afterward I'll be playing non stop, however Cogratulations to Jon and the band for their nomination, the hard work you've put into it.

I'm so thrilled for you, guys!, and not at all surprised. I love The Circle. I'll be watching from PA in January, when, once again, Bon Jovi will rule. CONGRATULATIONS!
I am a huge Bon Jovi fan, but I was really disappointed with "The Circle". This album lacks the great songs of Bon Jovi past. Jon and Richie are good songwriters but on this album they have lost their touch! The Circle is such a boring cd that I have a hard time listening to any song on it and that has never happened with any other Bon Jovi cd that I have purchased in the past. Jon's vocals are not that great which also makes The Circle hard to listen to.
Regardless, I am still a fan and will continue to listen. I know if they stop by Houston again I will be right there screaming my head off!

I'm not really sure how I'm condradicting myself? Care to explain please? :) And I really wont be eating my words. If they win it it'll be enough proof to show that they have gone from hard rock to pop, or at least are a completely different band to what they once were.
And I shant give it a rest. I personally feel that everyone else should stop treating The Circle as if it is some miracle album. It is far from it. There are a couple of tracks that stand out, but certainly nothing groundbreaking and the majority are poor.
